Our Story
In 2010, Wilfred and Stella—the founders of Wistas Inn Hotel—returned home to Tanzania after completing their postgraduate studies in England. During frequent visits from Arusha to Dar es Salaam, they faced a common challenge: finding reliable, high-quality hotel accommodation. Bookings had to be made days in advance, and the standards of rooms and service often fell short compared to what they had experienced abroad.
This inspired a vision. After acquiring a plot of land in Sinza with the initial plan to build a family home, life took an unexpected turn when Stella received a job offer in Nairobi, Kenya. With the family relocating, Wilfred and Stella saw an opportunity to transform their original plan. Instead of a private residence, they would build a hotel that would raise the standard of hospitality in the area.
And so, Wistas Inn Hotel was born—a blend of personal passion, international experience, and a commitment to offering guests a warm, comfortable, and reliable place to stay in Dar es Salaam
